	11/16/11 Lifting tables Neo has invested in 8 hydraulic scissor lifts with a lifting capacity of 1000 kg and a maximum lifting height of 2.55 meters. With these lifts the range of motions that Neo offers is expanded and the sheer number of lifts makes many possible applications and combinations in your show or event imaginable. The tables will be centrally controlled and furthermore some practical adaptations will be made, so that the elements can be incorporated into existing podium (flooring) systems and can be more easily transported and (re)arranged. 09/10/11 ESC Congress 2011 Parijs From the 27^th to the 31^st of August the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress was held in the Palais des Expositions in Paris Nord Villepinte. For this, in many ways record breaking event (33,000 visiting cardiologists from around the world, 68,000 m2 of temporary carpeting, 19,000 seats, etc., etc.) Neo, on behalf of and in cooperation with ACS audiovisual solutions, took care of the rigging and construction part of this immense meeting. Neo was involved in the extensive and complex preparations and with a team of 10 specialists responsible for the technical realization on location. There were 32 conferencerooms built, ranging in capacity from 200 to 3200 persons, by means of 5 km trussing which was suspended from 800 riggingpoints. New this edition was an 8 meters high, white facade (draft ACS) which flowed, as a smooth line, in front of the various congressrooms, through the large public areas and with just the right, tastefull illumination a modern, fresh look was created. Also Neo provided a rail system with a total length of 48 meters for a see-through projection screen (8 x 4,5 m) which was change-installed for a phantasmagoria-part of the grand opening-show of the congress. 09/05/11 CHIO 2011 Rotterdam From the 24^th to the 28^th of august the annual, internationally renowned Concours Hippique International Officiel (CHIO) was held in Rotterdam and Neo was involved as rigging and construction specialists for the various placings of (video)constructions. Neo adviced on the structural requirements of several constructions, e.g. three large outdoor video screens, and delivered the necessary lifting equipment as well as a wind monitoring system necessary for meeting the safety requirements. One screen (5 x 3 meters, 1,100 kg) on stage was mounted hanging in a railsystem (Neo e-Motion Technology ®), so that during the several musical (surprise)acts it could serve on the background of the stage, but, as an extra feature, could be moved smoothly and easily to the stagefront, so that during the races it could serve as a display panel for the raceresults, perfectly visible for all visitors.				06/30/11 Certifications Neo is both SCC* and ISO 9001:2008 certified. These systems are designed to improve safety and quality of services and materials supplied and Neo is annually reviewed by accredited, independent parties. ISO 9001:2008 This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system by which an organization must demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations and whose aim is to to enhance customer satisfaction by effectively applying the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of meeting customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations. SCC* SCC (Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors) is a certification process whereby an independent party based on a review of the company and its locations verifies whether the applicant meets the criteria for certification of SCC. SCC* is focused on the direct control of Safety, Health and Environmental Regulation when performing procedures in the workplace.				06/16/11 Mission Olympic 2011 Friday, June 10, 5000 finalist traveled to "The Mission Olympic School Final" A real Olympic opening and closing ceremony of the event took place in the Olympic Stadium Amsterdam. Neo was consulted for the lifting structure of the videoscreen, and developed special suspension beams for the scaffolding of the stage. Thanks to the innovative design of the lifting construction the structure was quick to install and the strict safety requirements could be met without the use of extra counter weight. In addition, Neo installed four chain hoist for sponsor expressions above the grandstand using rope access. More... 05/06/11 Certified inspectors Thursday, May 5, the course "Inspection and certification of lifting equipment and personal fall arrest systems" was succesfully completed by all the participants of Neo. The training included the latest developments in regulations and standards (e.g. EN 818, lifting chains, ISO 13411 and EN 363, steel cables, fall arrest systems). 05/20/11 Innovative materials Neo is constantly looking for novelty and innovation. The stock is increased with various innovative materials. Functionality and quality are always key factors. The new chain slings are GrabiQ parts, the latest development of integrated topring and shortening chain with less moving parts. Which contributes to both efficiency and safety. 04/07/11 Neo on the move Neo has moved into its new and fresh premises on the Contactweg in Amsterdam. The new location is spacious enough to allow for further growth and development of Neo's activities. At the moment we are working hard on the furnishing of the offices, warehouse and workshop.
